KRO Country 93.1 and Waverly Property Group proudly present a KRO
Country Birthday Bike Week Concert to celebrate the KRO's
9th Birthday with nationally acclaimed country music
singer-songwriter Aaron Tippin at the beautiful Daytona Beach City
Island Park on March 5, 2009.
With powerful melodies and dynamic vocals, Aaron
Tippin blazed a path to country stardom in the early 1990s. His
soulful ballads about American values and the dignity of freedom
touch the base of the American lifestyle. Deeply felt, his music
has been inspirational in its patriotic undertones and sympathetic
working-class roots. Tippin has continued to deliver his touch of
pride in every song.
Highlighting the concert will be several songs from
Tippin's new album, In Overdrive.Tippin has dedicated Overdrive
to truckers and is currently working with Arrow Truck Sales to help
get unemployed truckers back on the road.
Keep your wallets in your pockets for this free
concert during the Bike Week event! This huge show is a headlining
musical act for Bike Week. Gates open at 4pm with gifted local
artists taking the stage before the main event - Aaron Tippin - who
will showcase his skill and artistry performing his numerous hit
songs.
The incredible backdrop of the Halifax River offers
breathtaking vistas and a comfortable atmosphere for local
residents and Bike Week visitors alike. KRO Country 93.1 will be
offering several one-of-a-kind giveaways including a chance to work
out with Aaron Tippin, a known work-out fanatic, be a Roadie For A
Day, and even win a seat right on stage during the
concert!
There will be plenty of food and drinks at this
outdoor music festival, along with free parking!The concert will
benefit Roots & Shoots and The Jane Goodall Foundation. This
